Strategic Management and Consultancy

Continuous improvement and customer focus is embedded and strategic planning achieved through application of the Balanced Scorecard techniques developed by Kaplan and Norton.

Although developed for larger enterprises, the balanced scorecard can be used in SME and across all profit making and non-profit making activity.  It is used world-wide by schools, in defence industries, governments; from RCMP, through Wells Fargo to Canon USA.

We can support development of your strategic management solution.

The key to suc
cess in any organisational endeavour is translating strategic aims and organisational values into things that must be done.  Every activity by each member of an organisation should directly contribute to success.  If this is not so then why carry out the action?  Balancing and focusing priority aspects of financial development, the customer, efficiency and the workforce, now and for the future, will achieve success.
Measurement is needed to confirm success.  But those measures put in place must be realistic and balanced.  They must not focus only on the historical; knowing the bottom line tells yesterday's story not tomorrow's.  This is how businesses fail.  An example: few organisations set targets for days at training for managers and workforce and then measure this, as a result there is a relinquishing of strategic responsibility for organisational learning.
